Children of War brings Spanish Civil War veterans and survivors together with psychologists, artists, literary scholars, archivists, and children's rights activists to explore the transformation of trauma and memory in art and expression.

Highlights include a keynote address on March 4 at 5:00 pm, with testimonials by survivors, interdisciplinary panel discussions, and a performance work by Elyse Pineau on March 5.

This acclaimed and timely exhibition curated by Anthony Geist features features children's drawings from the refugee camps of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) and subsequent twentieth-century war zones as well documentary prints by photojournalist Robert Capa. The children's drawings serve as testaments to the distructive power of violence and the creative powers of imagination and expression.
