Health Information Technology (HIT) Workforce Demand in the State of Texas
The WWAMI Center for Health Workforce Studies is serving as a technical consultant to Texas State University's Health Information Technology Workforce Needs Assessment Project. This project, funded by the State of Texas, will inventory statewide HIT workforce needs in order to help ensure that health care employers in Texas have access to well-trained HIT professionals. The study will include focus groups and a survey of health care facilities in Texas.
Washington State Survey of Primary Care Physicians--Technical Assistance
The Washington State Office of Financial Management is surveying primary care physicians in Washington State to assess access to primary care for Washington's residents. The WWAMI Center for Health Workforce Studies will provide technical assistance to help facilitate the survey. This project is funded by the Washington State Office of Financial Management through a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Health Resources and Services Administration.
