The Montage morphophonological system

A prototype of the Montage Morphophonological analyzer

Jeff Good and Emily M. Bender

This is a prototype of a Montage system for analyzing a set of rules and a lexicon created for a language and transforming them into resources which can be read by Xerox's XFST in order to create a transducer which can analyze the language's morphology.

The test language for this prototype is Slave and the prototype is implemented in Perl using XML to encode language resources (e.g., the lexicon and a list of rules).
