Patas File System Overview

This is a quick overview of how filesystems are shared in the Patas cluster. It's intended to help people who are coding more complicated jobs.

Line: 16 to 16
  Anything not under one of these mount points is not shared; for example, each node has its own /tmp directory.

Special note about UDrive: Condor has no access to the UDrive folder. You will get errors if you put a Condor job in your UDrive folder.

The following filesystems are shared by all the nodes:

  • /condor
  • /corpora
  • /home
  • /NLP_TOOLS
  • /opt
  • /opt/dropbox
  • /projects

Anything not under one of these mount points is not shared; for example, each node has its own /tmp directory.
