Welcome to the home page for the 2005 International Conference on Fatigue Management in Transportation Operations. This conference, hosted by The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and Transport Canada, is a continuation of the Fatigue in Transportation conference series that have taken place in Fremantle, Australia. We are grateful to Professor Laurence Hartley and his colleagues at Murdoch University for establishing and maintaining this renowned biannual event, and are honored to host the conference in North America. The objective of the conference is to disseminate information on the latest fatigue-related research, technology, and countermeasures. The program will transition from research and development to technical and practical sessions. The conference will address the interests of researchers, practitioners, managers and operators involved in all modes of transportation from around the world.
