Author Guidelines

The paper submission system is open again. If your paper has been accepted, please revise your manuscript based on the reviewer's comments and submit the final version by Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Please be also aware of the Summary Slide and the Copyright form (if not already submitted).

Author Attendance

Visa Information

Some international participants will require a visa prior to arriving in this country.  Please check the website of the US State Department for detailed information.

If your entry to the U.S. requires a visa, you are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.  If you need a formal letter of invitation from the meeting organizers as part of the visa application please contact the ICORR Secretariat at icorr@u.washington.edu.

  • at least one author per paper must to register for the conference at the time of final submission and attend the conference to present the paper
  • failure to comply with this rule will result in exclusion of the paper from the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore
  • register no later than May 13, 2013

Final Submissions

Detailed preparation instructions are below. The submission site will collect:

  • 4-6 page* final paper
  • 1-page summary slide (if not already submitted)
  • completed IEEE copyright form (if not already submitted)

*Page limit: Papers must be 4 to 6 pages long, with the possibility of up to two additional pages. There will be a charge of $50 per page for papers longer than 6 pages. Submissions with fewer than 4 or more than 8 pages will not be accepted.

Paper Formatting Guidelines

The formatting guidelines remain the same as with your earlier submission. Your paper must comply with the following guidelines, including the PDF eXpress compatibility.

Templates: submissions, regardless of presentation format, both invited and freely submitted, must be prepared in US letter, double column IEEE-compliant PDF format using the standard IEEE conference templates. Word and LaTeX templates are available here: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html

PDF compliance: submissions must be converted to PDF and pass the IEEE PDF eXpress test before being submitted. Authors must acknowledge IEEE PDF compliance during the submission process. Authors may log in to check the PDF file using the conference ID "ICORR2013x" here: http://www.pdf-express.org/ . If you do not have an IEEE PDF eXpress account, you may create one by going to http://www.pdf-express.org/contributor.asp and again use the conference ID "ICORR2013x"

PDF submission: once a PDF paper has passed the IEEE PDF xPress test, it can be uploaded on the submission website in PDF format.

Summary Slide (to appear in the conference program)

Summary slide with a grayscale picture in JPEG format to illustrate your work and with three to five bullet points of text summarizing the work. The reference format is 6x4 cm (2.4x1.6 inch) with a resolution of 300–600 dpi, and a maximum file size of 300 kB. Submitted pictures that do not correspond to the reference size will be scaled to fit. Please provide high-quality images, as this will appear in the printed conference program. Copyright Form

A completed copyright form (available at http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/rights/copyrightmain.html) must be submitted.
