On this page we offer a link to:, which includes links to information regarding past ICORR meetings.

ICORR was started in 1983 under U.S. NIDRR funding, spurred by the success of the “Rehabilitation Robotics Special Interest group” active within RESNA.  The conference soon settled into a biannual format, recognizing that in alternate years researchers tended to wish to be involved in other and typically larger robotics venues such as IEEE IROS and ICRA, or other rehabilitation and biomedical  venues such as RESNA and EMBC.  In 2005, the ICORR Standing Steering Committee approached the Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) and the Engineering in Medicine and Biology (EMBS) of IEEE and was honored to be awarded a co-sponsorship from these two Societies.
