Welcome I have great pleasure to invite you to attend the 24th International Research Ship Operators Meeting (ISOM) to be hosted by School of Oceanography and the Applied Physics Laboratory at the University of Washington. ISOM 2011 will be held in Seattle, USA, from Wednesday 25th May to Friday 27thth May 2011. In addition to ISOM there will be a workshop on ‘Evolving Changes in Seagoing Oceanography: Implications for Research Vessel Operations’ on Tuesday, 24th May 2011.
