Outreach

Graduate student and postdoc members of Conte Center labs regularly take part in outreach through the UW Neuroscience Community Outreach, a Society for Neuroscience funded and awarded group. This group of graduate students coordinates classroom visits and large events, where volunteers provide neuroscience education to students ages 6-18. The group can help build online resources for educators to bring neuroscience to their classroom, including videos & experimental lesson plans.
