Health Policy

CPHN collaborates with government agencies and community groups as they develop policies to improve nutrition and physical activity in our state. The Center also evaluates outcomes associated with changing policies at the institution, community, and state levels. Examples of activities include:

• Provide leadership and expertise to the King County Overweight Prevention Initiative.
• Provide resources for school health policies through the Healthy Schools...Successful Students Web site.
• Member of Washington State Nutrition and Physical Activity Policy Leadership Group.
