This project provides supplemental funds for a RWJF study originally funded by the Healthy Eating Research (HER) program in their Round 1 funding focusing on school wellness policies in Washington State for 7th graders. This ALR supplemental grant will add to the HER Round 1 grant by including school district physical activity policies. Data on school physical activity policies will be collected using key informant interviews and coded to allow for comparisons with school nutrition policies being studied in the HER Round 1 grant.
