Access to Healthy Foods Coalition
Access To Healthy Foods Coalition is a group of businesses, industries, government agencies and non-profit organizations working together to positively influence health and nutrition in Washington state by improving the access to healthier foods we live, learn, work and play.
Action for Healthy Kids - Washington
The goal of the Washington State Action for Healthy Kids Team is to reduce the number of overweight and obese children by increasing the number of Washington State schools that adopt model nutrition and physical activity policies. The team is part of a nation-wide initiative to improve the health and educational performance of children through better nutrition and physical activity in schools.
Breastfeeding Coalition of Washington
The Breastfeeding Coalition of Washington (BCW) promotes, protects and supports breastfeeding as a vital part of the health and development of children and their families and is made up of local breastfeeding coalitions across the state.
Washington Coalition for Promoting Physical Activity
The Washington Coalition for Promoting Physical Activity is a coalition of public and private sector activists working in partnerships to promote regular physical activity to enhance health, fitness and quality of life for Washington residents in accord with public health recommendations.
Washington State Food and Nutrition Council
The Washington State Food and Nutrition Council advocates for food, agriculture, and nutrition programs, services, and education. The Council enhances its members’ and the general public’s ability to discern nutrition issues and related public policy issues which impact the lives of Washington state residents.
