PurposeTo engage stakeholders in developing a sustainable roadmap for meaningful health research in Seattle Public Schools so that the health needs of children can be addressed through effective school services and programs, thus maximizing student readiness to learn.
Goals1. To raise the profile of health as a factor in academic success 2. To provide the school district with evidence of which school health programs and initiatives are most effective 3. To provide school policy makers with health research data 4. To attract resources for student health
