UW Center for Obesity Research

Obesity is one of the most complex and costly health concerns facing Americans. Translational obesity research that moves scientific discoveries into positive health outcomes is now an international priority.

The aim of UW-COR is to facilitate interdisciplinary research that addresses biomedical, social, economic, and environmental aspects of obesity. The objective is to advance science and improve health by aligning research aims with local, state, and national policy objectives.
