Every evening, beginning about an hour before sundown, I see more than a hundred crows in groups ranging from four up to thirty or forty flying south-easterly. This is a normal every evening occurence.

Observed a crow I often see around the entrance to the University of Washington Health Science building. This crow apparently has some kind of radio tracking device on its underside. The front of the device, which wasn't previously visible, is now sticking out. I had noticed the plastic-covered wire seen under the crow's tail feathers before but today the head of the device was visible. It seemed to irritate the crow, as it was tugging on the device while walking across the ground. I often see this crow in the trees near the eastern overpass that crosses NE Pacific St to the Health Science building.

There is a crow nest in this Londonplane tree.

The banded crow was sighted on June 11, 2011 at the Tamaron Ranch Apartments at 7:30 AM. The crow was foraging in a dumpster along with two other unbanded crows. This is the first time I've seen an unbanded crow in this region. The bird had 4 bands. The bands that were not red or green were either silver or white--hard to tell in strong sunlight. I'm accustomed to the crows at this apartment complex, so it was interesting to see a new bird (or the same one newly banded?).

I have narc'd on banded crows before (all of whom are still around). Yesterday after work, I opened my front gate and there was an injured crow in the foyer. As I went to deal with him, not sure what to do, I realized crows were gathering in the tree outside and shrieking at me (the same way, it turned out, they'd been shrieking at the neighbor who'd put him inside while trying to figure out who to call). As soon as he was on the sidewalk, he began determinedly hopping to the street. Naturally, I walked out after him since rush hour traffic was coming. The crows from the tree were now dive bombing me, close enough to ruffle my hair. A silver vehicle started to slow but maybe he could tell that the crow -- like sizing up a golf shot -- had stopped dead-center in the right tire track of the far right lane, staring the car down. I don't need to tell you and I don't like to think about what happened next. The whole experience kinda shook me up. If you're inclined, I'd appreciate a reply on whether you think the crow had been attacked or if it was a group effort to help him suicide AND whether I'll be branded as a Meddler by the crows when, in fact, I actually enabled him to kill himself. I know well they're scary smart at times.

I'm witnessing hundreds of crows on roofs, yards, electical wires, trees. They just keep swarming in and cawing up a storm. I hears them on the roof just pounding. I've never seen anything like it, maybe in a scene from The Birds!

Last year, and now this year too, in the fall just before or around sunset, 1000's of crows fly across Canyon Park office park in Bothell heading SE. Sometimes individuals stop briefly on trees, ground, or rooftops. I'm right in the middle of their path -- so cool! I remember this went on for weeks or months last year -- will have to pay attention this year to see when it ends...

Baby Crows are out in Arbor Heights. Saw family of 5 at the So Entrance to Fauntleroy Pk. Two babies, two parents and a helper. The little ones were clumsy on the branches and squawking the baby caw. Parents got mad at me & did fly by cawing mean all the while. Saw and heard at least another 6 babies walking to the Roxbury Safeway and back.

60 lb dog killed medium sized crow, bringing the body onto the backyard deck. In the weeks since, every time dog is in yard, crows will gather in trees above, cawing loudly, and occasionally swooping down by the dog.

I live behind q13 news and I have been watching over the the last few weeks 2 crows make a nest, and I think they had eggs that hatched...but not sure. Today they are gone and they had made a cover of moss and grass like a lid over the top of the nest. I saw a squirl in there checking it out. The same squirl that I saw the crows atack whenever it got close. Those crows were really protective of the area and no squirls or birds could get close. I would give old bread out on my deck and the crows would eat it and also they would take it and soak it in puddles to make it soft. They would also break the bread into small pieces and stuff it into the top of the vents in the roof and the hvac vents of the sundance yacht dealership and then come back to the bread later. They also would put food into the radar dishes on top of the q13 news. I had fun watching them and am sad to see them gone.
