Bull / David Dorfman
American dancer, choreographer, and company director
It is my view that in our American culture specifically, we are taught that we need to be, exceptionally good at an art form in order to practice it. I think this mode of thinking is what prevents us all from taking ownership of our culture and re-weaving it in ways we desire so that culture can be an active part of the fabric of everyday life. We are our culture, and I think itís our responsibility and right to share all kinds of art with all kinds of people.
