- Lisa Jackson-Schebetta (Ph.D. 2010) won the Robert A. Shanke Award at the Mid America Theatre Conference, Minneapolis, MN, March 3-6, 2011. The MATC is an annual conference dedicated to the scholarship and practice of theatre.
- Michael Minahan,third year MFA student in scenic design, will be showing his design for the School of Drama's 2010 production of The Tempest, as well as two earlier works, at the prestigious Prague Quadrennial June 16-26, 2011.
