General Information:

Tickets: All Previews are $10;  Adults $15 for Wed, Thurs & Sun; $17 on Fri & Sat. Seniors, UW employees and UWAA members $13; Students $10. Groups of 10 or more pay $12 per ticket.  Tickets can be purchased in advance in person or by phoning the UW Arts Ticket Office, or online at drama.washington.edu.
Subscription sales and single tickets will be available for sale Sept.1.

Tickets may be purchased one hour prior to curtain at the specific theatre if available.

Single tickets are assessed a $1.00 per ticket processing charge on web, mail, fax and phone orders. This processing charge is waived if tickets are ordered with a subscription or at the UW Arts Ticket Office window. 

All subscribers receive a discount of $l off regular adult single ticket prices. Readings not included.

UW employees and UWAA members receive an additional discount on subscriptions and single tickets.

Reading Series: Sold Separately. Not offered as part of a regular subscription. Passes are $20 for 4 admissions to either series. Single tickets are $6.

Exchanges: We gladly exchange subscription tickets to a different performance of the same play, but there are no refunds.  Some ticket upgrades may involve an additional cost.  To make an exchange, return tickets to the UW Arts Ticket Office by mail or in person no less than 24 hours prior to the date printed on your current ticket. Single ticket exchanges will be charged a $1 per ticket exchange fee.

Previews: Previews for each production begin at 7:30 PM and are usually held the Sunday and Tuesday prior to opening night; however, sometimes days are different. Please see calendar for actual dates. There is no matinee for previews.

Performance Times: Curtain times are 7:30 PM for all evening performances and 2:00 PM on Sundays. There is no 2:00 PM preview. All Sunday previews are at 7:30 PM.  

Seating: All performances start promptly and are festival seating.  Latecomers will be seated at intermission if possible.

Post-play Discussions: Join us for a lively discussion that may include drama faculty, Ph.D. students, directors and cast members.  Offered twice per show (see calendar).

Payment:  VISA, MasterCard, cash, and checks with proper identification are accepted.

Parking:  Parking can be very limited. Please arrive early.  For parking information and fees, call 206-685-1543.

Children:   Please, no children under five.  Call the ticket office for age appropriateness.

  • The Meany Hall Studio Theatre: Located on campus in lower Meany Hall. From the brick-paved Central Plaza (Red Square), take the stairs at the NE corner of Meany Hall to the sunken courtyard. If parking in the Central Plaza Garage, (at 15th Ave. NE & NE 41st St), park on Level C1.

  • The Hughes Penthouse Theatre: Located on campus in lower Meany Hall. From the brick-paved Central Plaza (Red Square), take the stairs at the NE corner of Meany Hall to the sunken courtyard. If parking in the Central Plaza Garage, (at 15th Ave. NE & NE 41st St), park on Level C1.
