Life Insurance Rate Change
On the Jan. 26 paychecks, employees will see the Jan. 1, 1998 life insurance rate change announced by the state Health Care Authority last fall. The new rates were posted in the medical/dental open enrollment materials, and were previously highlighted on the Benefits website and in e-mail announcements to employees. More about life insurance, as well as a forms request site can be found on the Benefits web at: http://www.washington.edu/admin/benefits/

These Rates apply to: Part B–Supplemental–Spouse–(rate based on employee's age); Part C–Optional–Employee; Part D–Supplemental–Employee. The Part B–Basic Dependent Life has also increased from $.80 to $.84 per month.
