Weight Control Class
"Your Path to a Healthy Body Weight," the weight management course sponsored by UWMC Roosevelt and the Nutrition Clinic is being offered again this spring. The cost for the eight-session course is $50. Classes at Roosevelt Clinic are offered to employees and non-employees and are as follows:

  • 6­7 p.m. Tuesdays, April 28, May 5, 12, 19, 26, and June 2, 9, 16
  • 2:30­3:30 p.m. Wednesdays, April 29, May 6, 13, 20, 27, and June 3, 10, 17

    Classes will also be offered for UW employees only and will be held in the Plaza Cafe Conference rooms at UWMC:

    Finding Funding Workshop
    The workshop, "Finding Funding on the Internet: Humanities and Social Sciences" will be held on from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 17 in Collaboratory 2, Odegaard Library (ground floor). The workshop will cover strategies for finding information on the Internet about federal, foundation, and corporate funding opportunities with a focus on the disciplines in the Humanities and Social Sciences. Participants do not have to be associated with these disciplines. There will be a workshop focused on Natural Sciences and Engineering in May. Participants must be affiliated with the University and have a University email account. No sign-up is necessary; Internet experience is recommended.
