(Editor's Note: The 1998 Distinguished Teaching Award recipients are: Lawrence J. Bliquez, professor of classics; Ted W. Pietsch, professor of fisheries; Tracy McKenzie, associate professor of history; Terry J. Mengert, associate professor of emergency medicine; Anita Ramasastry, assistant professor of law; Carol J. Leppa, assistant professor of nursing, UW Bothell; and June Lowenberg, senior lecturer of nursing, UW Tacoma. The University-wide recognition includes a $3,500 award.
