Board of Regents
The Board of Regents will hold a regular public meeting at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 15 in the Walker Ames Room of Kane Hall. The regents will meet in formal session to take official action on personnel appointments and changes, gifts and grants, contracts and agreements with outside agencies, and other University business.

Association for Women in Science
The May meeting of the Seattle Area Chapter of the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) will be from 7:30­9 p.m. Wednesday, May 13 at the NOAA Northwest Fisheries Science Auditorium, 2725 Montlake East (entrance on East Hamlin Street) in Seattle. Peggy Phillips, senior vice president of pharmaceutical development at Immunex Corporation, will talk on her career path to the executive level. Reception from 6:30­7:30 p.m. at the same location. Toastmasters Harborview

There will be blood drives from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, May 8 in the Health Sciences Lobby and in the HUB.

Blood Pressure Screening
Have your blood pressure tested 11 a.m.­1 p.m., on first Wednesdays of the month at the Faculty Club or 11 a.m.­1 p.m. Fridays at Hall Health Primary Care Center.
