University Week encourages readers to submit story ideas for consideration, including honors and awards received by University employees. Please remember that we focus our publication on the faculty and staff of the University of Washington.
To submit Calendar items
The University Week calendar lists on-campus events sponsored by University of Washington groups and organizations on a space-available basis. Items may be submitted for consideration in writing, by fax, e-mail or through the event submission form. Items should be received by 5 p.m. six days before publication. All copy selected for publication will be edited by University Week editors for readability, length and style. University Week calendar items also will appear in the web version of the University of Washington calendar.

University Week welcomes questions from faculty and staff of the University of Washington regarding policies and practices of campus service units. Timely questions of broad campus interest will be given preference for publication. Questions should be brief and include the name and UW unit of the writer. The published version of questions will be unsigned because they may be a compilation of questions from many sources. However, the answers will be signed by the appropriate unit head. All questions considered for publication will be referred to the appropriate department for a response. All copy will be edited by University Week editors for readability, length and style. Items may be submitted in writing, by fax, or via e-mail.
