The UW Board of Regents meeting, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, in the Walker Ames Room of Kane Hall. The Regents will meet in formal session to take official action on personnel appointments and changes, gifts and grants, contracts and agreements with outside agencies and other University business.

The next meeting of WebEd, a special interest group for people who are interested in putting educational material on the Web, will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6 in 320 OUGL. Scott Whitright from Asymetrix will talk about Librarian, the new server-based learning management system. Association for Women in Science
The Seattle Area Chapter of the Association for Women in Science (AWIS) and the UW Department of Biochemistry will present a Career Panel from 7:309:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20 in K-069 HSC. Classes
Library Computer Classes
The UW Libraries provide computer training in subjects ranging from introductory classes such as Finding Articles and Catalog Overview to specialized classes in Engineering and Life Sciences database search techniques. The classes are free and attendance is usually limited to UW students, faculty and staff. Sports Skills Classes
Registration for Sports Skills Classes begins at 7:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5 at the IMA. These classes are available to faculty/staff for a small fee with their IMA membership, $100 annual or $30 quarterly. Some of the classes offered are: aerobics, step aerobics, conditioning, hydro aerobics, tai chi, tennis, swimming, and weight training. Contact the Sports Skills Office at 543-2571 for a complete list of classes and their fees.

Research Subjects Wanted
Men interested in a new drug being developed for the treatment of baldness and prostate problems are eligible to participate in a research study. Healthy men will take an investigational drug daily for 12 months. The entire study will last 20 months and is being conducted at the Seattle VA Medical Center and at the Male Fertility Laboratory at the UW. Volunteers will be paid.
