President to address campus Oct. 6
Each fall I take this opportunity to discuss with students, faculty and staff the major challenges and opportunities facing the UW and our plans for addressing them in the year ahead, President McCormick said. My colleagues across the University will, I hope, come away from the speech with a better understanding of the biggest issues before us and the directions we are taking to meet them. I will, of course, be asking for their help in achieving the Universitys goals. President McCormicks address will be broadcast live to the UW campuses in Bothell and Tacoma. A question and answer period will follow the address, and then a reception will be held in the Walker-Ames Room of Kane Hall. Members of the University of Washington Community are invited to attend President Richard L. McCormicks Annual Address to the University Community 4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 6
