Finding Quality Web Resources, a class that demonstrates efficient use of search engines such as AltaVista and HotBot and outlines criteria for evaluating information, will be offered at Harborview next week. The class, presented by the Health Sciences Library and Information Center, will be held from noon to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 24, in Harborview Hall Auditorium A. The class is free and no preregistration is required. Stephanie Carter, a Ph.D. student in the School of Public Health and Community Medicines Department of Environmental Health, has received one of four 1998 Industrial Hygiene Scholarships awarded by the 3M company.
