Seminar will cover teleconferencing techniques

A free seminar, “Introduction to Instructional Technology, will be offered from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4, in room D-209 of the Health Sciences Center. The program will cover the use of teleconferencing equipment for distance learning programs.

Topics will include options for delivering interactive video at a distance; techniques for planning, preparing and delivering instruction using teleconferencing, and tips on communicating from a teleconferencing station.

Attendance at the free seminar, offered by the Health Sciences Center for Educational Resources, is limited to faculty and teaching assistants from the UW health sciences schools. Call 685-1186 to register. ¶
