How can we ever thank you? A Distinguished Staff nomination is one way
UW employees are invited to nominate their colleagues for the 1999 Distinguished Staff Award, a $3,000 award to be given to up to five outstanding staff employees. This is the third year of the awards and they will be presented at the Universitys annual recognition event, to be held June 10, along with the Distinguished Teaching and Outstanding Public Service awards.
All permanent staff employees at Seattle, Bothell, Tacoma, campuses, Harborview and all off-campus sites are eligible if they work 50 percent or more, have been employed at least six months and are employed on the nomination closing date.
Employees should look for the following qualities in those they nominate:
The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, Feb. 10. Staff members previously nominated are eligible to be nominated again. However, previous recipients are no longer eligible.
