Light boxes for mild winter depression: UW researchers based at Harborview Medical Center are recruiting participants who have mild winter depression for a study on the effectiveness of bright-light boxes used in the workplace. Subjects should not have major depression or be taking mood-altering medications, and should be in good health. The free, three-week study will include two weeks using a light box. For more information, contact Linda Floyd at 731-2436.
