New faculty appointed by Board of Regents Faculty newly appointed to academic positions by the Board of Regents Feb. 19: School of Medicine William Edward Brant, to be Professor (without tenure) of Radiology on a 12-month basis, effective Feb. 15. (Prior to this appointment, Brant was a Professor of Radiology at the University of California, Davis.) Michael Thomas Caps, to be Assistant Professor (without tenure) of Surgery on a 12-month basis, effective Feb. 1. (Prior to this appointment, Caps was an Acting Assistant Professor—temporary in the same department.) Andra Elizabeth Ibrahim, to be Assistant Professor (without tenure) of Anesthesiology on a 12-month basis, effective Feb. 1. (Prior to this appointment, Ibrahim was an Acting Assistant Professor—temporary in the same department.) Vishesh Kapur, to be Assistant Professor (without tenure) of Medicine on a 12-month basis, effective Feb.1.
