Dr. Alexander (Sasha) Rudensky, associate professor of immunology and an associate investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, has received the American Association of Immunologists/PharMingen Investigator Award, which recognizes an early-career investigator who has made outstanding contributions to the field of immunology. He was honored for his contributions to understanding major histocompatability complex class II antigen processing and the development of CD4+ T cells. “Music Therapy & Medicine,” a national satellite broadcast sponsored by the UW School of Music and presented by the American Music Therapy Association, will be seen from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, April 27, in room T-239 of the Health Sciences Center. Dr. Ed Walker, UW associate professor of psychiatry, will introduce the program at 9:45 a.m. From noon to 12:30 there will be a local question-and-answer session with music therapists.
