Parking Services

Annual renewal of parking permits and U-Pass stickers purchased through payroll deduction is being held from April 19-May 10. When you receive your renewal form, please check all the information, make any necessary corrections or modifications, and mail the form to Parking Services, Box 351105. Please act promptly. Remember, all campus parking violations must be satisfactorily settled before a permit will be renewed.

If you purchase a U-Pass to participate in a carpool, you must complete two renewal forms, one for the U-Pass and another for the carpool. Your U-Pass renewal form is sent via the campus mail. The head of your carpool is sent the carpool renewal forms for all members. He/she is responsible for distributing the forms to each member. Each carpool member must complete both forms. Forms from all carpool members should be bundled into one packet and returned to Parking Services by May 10. Drop carpool renewal materials into the nearest campus mailbox (Box 351105) or bring them to Parking Services main office at 3901 University Way NE.

QUESTIONS? E-mail parking@u.washington.edu or call Permit office staff at 685-1453.

Lobbying Restrictions

This is a reminder concerning the Federal lobbying restrictions that have been in place since December, 1989. These lobbying restrictions, based on Section 319 of Public Law 101-121, prohibit recipients of federal grants and contracts from using federal funds for lobbying members of Congress, their staff or employees of federal agencies in connection with specific grants or contracts. In addition, the restrictions also require disclosure if this type of lobbying is done from non-federal funds. The restrictions are applicable to proposals and awards of federal grants and contracts to the University of Washington. For more complete details, please refer to the University letter of May 1, 1991, to deans, directors, chairs and principal investigators.
