The UW Sports Medicine Clinic, which has been chosen to provide physicians’ services for all Husky student athletes, will be temporarily located in room 13 of the former Electrical Engineering building on Stevens Way this year while renovation work takes place at the Hec-Ed Pavilion. Robin Bennett, health services manager in the Division of Medical Genetics and a genetic counselor at UW Medical Center, is the author of The Practical Guide to the Genetic Family History, recently published by John Wiley and Sons. The book is intended for use by genetic counselors and other health care professionals. Gail Joseph, head teacher in the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program at the Center on Human Development and Disability, has been selected as one of 10 National Head Start fellows.
