Surplus Property
Auction
Surplus property and equipment released by UW departments will be available for purchase May 15 at a silent auction. Bidding begins at 10 a.m. The warehouse will be open for previewing May 14 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Previewing also can be done from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the day of the sale. All bidders must be registered before the bidding starts. Registration can be done during the preview hours. Payment must be in cash and will be accepted until 1:30 p.m. the day of the auction. Buyers are encouraged to remove their purchases before 4 p.m. All merchandise must be removed by 3 p.m. on Monday, May 17. Items available for sale include computers, printers, desks, chairs and tables. A complete catalog will be available at time of registration. The surplus warehouse is located below the University Police at 1117 N.E. Boat Street. Parking is available along Boat Street at no charge or, with a permit, in the West Campus garage to customers on the day of the sale. Please call 685-1573 for more information.

The Family Formation Project at the University of Washington is seeking an ethnically diverse sample of married couples to participate in our study of communication and health. We are recruiting couples where at least one person is Asian or Pacific Islander. Married couples have the potential to earn up to $200.
