UW’s Mickey Eisenberg and son create popular Web site on CPR

  CPR

An animated Web site that teaches the public the basics of CPR and other life-saving skills has been created by UW professor of medicine and emergency physician Dr. Mickey Eisenberg and his son David Eisenberg.

For more than 25 years, Mickey Eisenberg has been an international leader in encouraging everyone to obtain CPR training. The instructional site receives more than 1,000 hits a day and was favorably reviewed by Net News Today. USA Today gave it a Hot Site Award.

In the “Ask the Doctor” section of the site, Eisenberg answers viewers’ questions about CPR. The site also has a “You CAN do it!” CPR pocket guide for viewers to print and post or carry with them.

The Web address is http://www.learncpr.org
