Classic cars at SummerfestOne of the features at this years Summerfest, the UW Medical Centers employee festival held last week, was a display of classic cars restored and maintained by faculty and staff. Above, Mauricio Bendana of UWMCs financial planning office poses with his 1961 rack-top VW, outfitted for a road trip. The festivals theme this year was old-fashioned country barbecue, with food choices including ribs and burgers. There was also a country band. Photo by Gavin Sisk.
