Swing shift parking permit available
A parking permit pilot program for the swing shift is under way. Swing shift permits (valid Mondays-Fridays, 2:30 p.m. to 8 a.m. and Saturdays, 7 a.m. until noon) will cost $25 a month, tax included.
Permits may be purchased quarterly or annually. Faculty and staff may purchase annual swing shiftpermits by cash, check or payroll deduction. Quarterly swing shift permits may be purchased via cash or check. These new permits do not include a U-PASS for your personal use.
Daytime permit holders may convert to swing shift permits without having to change parking areas. Swing shift permits also may be purchased for parking area E2, and a limited number will be available for C12, E12 and W2.
Swing shift permit holders are eligible to purchase individual commuter tickets on a limited basis. Commuter tickets may be used on an average of no more than twice a week. Details are available the Parking Services Web site at http://www.washington.edu/admin/parking/ict.html .
