The Executive Committee approved the minutes of the Senate Executive Committee meetings and continuation meetings of April 5, 12, and 19 and May 10. It also approved the minutes of the Faculty Senate meeting of May 27. It heard reports from the Senate Committee on Planning and Budgeting, the Faculty Legislative Representative and the Faculty Council on University Libraries.

Discussion Item: Draft Class A Legislation on Procedures For Promotions * Volume Two, Part II, Chapter 24, Section 54. Would amend sections of the Faculty Code to provide for increased involvement by the candidate in the promotion process.
