Harborview receives commendation with accreditation Harborview Medical Center has received formal notification of its award of special designation of commendation for the second consecutive time by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). Again, Harborview received no type-1 recommendations and a near perfect score of 96 percent, compared to a national mean score of 88 percent.
