Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute. The annual Health Sciences Center tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. last week, with the theme "Keeping His Dream Alive in the 21st Century," included this dancer from the Soaring Eagles Dance Troop of the American Indian Heritage School, along with speakers Dr. Theresa Maresca and UW student Tyson Marsh. The late Aki Kurose was honored with the Distinguished Community Service Award and seven students, faculty and staff from the Health Sciences Center received Volunteer Recognition Awards. |
