UW President Richard L. McCormick spoke at the Servin Safari Development Services staff retreat and took time to pose for a photo with the King of the Jungle.

By wearing a ring on the index finger and using a camera mounted on the keyboard, Richard Johnston has found a way to eliminate the mouse on his computer.

Mary McMahon, a volunteer with the USER project, wears a vest made from paper PAF forms. The vest was given to McMahon by USER team members as a going away gift. McMahon will be taking on a new role with the USER project.

Violist Helen Calluswill perform Bartok’s Viola Concerto as a soloist with the University Symphony at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17 in Meany Theater. The program also includes Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll and Franck’s Symphony in D Minor. Callus is a member of the faculty of the UW School of Music. Tickets, at $6 general and $4 students and seniors, are available at the Arts Ticket Office, 543-4880.
