Dr. Samuel Dworkin, professor of oral medicine in the School of Dentistry and psychiatry and behavioral sciences in the School of Medicine, has begun a four-year term on the National Advisory Dental and Craniofacial Research Council of the National Institutes of Health. The council advises the NIH director and reviews and makes recommendations on research grant applications to support biomedical research and research training activites.

Dr. Pamela Mullens, a clinical faculty member in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, has received the Fischer Mentorship Award of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Section on Pediatrics.
