Spring Home Fair blooms April 4 - 5

Spring is in the air, and you’re probably thinking about home-related activities. Continental Savings Bank, administrator of the UW’s Hometown Home Loan program is sponsoring a Spring Home Fair, to be held the first week in April. This is your opportunity to talk to the experts with your questions on home financing, remodeling, purchasing a home, or gardening and landscaping.

The fair will include realtors, who can tell you what the current market is like; contractors, to answer your questions about remodeling; home inspectors, who can explain what is involved in a home inspection; gardening experts, to help you solve your gardening dilemmas; and loan officers from Continental Savings Bank, who can answer all of your questions about the benefits of the Hometown Home Loan Program.

In addition, HomeSight, a local non-profit housing counseling agency, will be available to provide information on the various down-payment assistance and credit-counseling programs that they offer. The event on April 5 at the HUB will feature free seminars on a range of topics, with special guest speaker Ed Hume, Master Gardener.
