A free public forum on Alzheimers Disease: Current Advances in Clinical Care and Research will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, May 17, in room 220 of Kane Hall on campus. The forum is sponsored by the UW Alzheimers Disease Research Center and the UW School of Nursings de Tornyay Center on Healthy Aging. Dr. Linda Teri, director of the de Tornyay Center, will introduce the program. Dr. George Martin, professor of pathology and former director of the Alzheimers Disease Research Center, will speak on Genetics of Alzheimers Disease. Dr. Soo Borson, professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences, will speak on Improving Clinical Care of Alzheimers Disease.
