The campus was alive with arts events July 18-22 during the Summer Arts Festival. School of Art students made more than $8,000 during a sale of their work on the Quad, top. The money goes to individual artists and to art student organizations. Visiting Lecturer in art Linda Thomas, above, created a charcoal drawing in the lobby of the Playhouse Theatre, while elementary school children and their teacher, below, showed off what they had learned in an African drumming workshop.
