Thompson to speak at PSO meeting

The Professional Staff Organization will hold its annual fall meeting from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30 in the Walker Ames Room, Kane. Dick Thompson, Director of the UW Office of Government Relations, will speak on 601/695, The Budget & Your Salary.

Thompson joined the UW staff in the fall of 1999. He brings extensive experience in Olympia and will give a short overview of what the Office of Government Relations does, followed by a summary of the proposed UW budget request.

All professional staff are invited to come and bring their lunches. Refreshments will be served. Door prizes include a Palm Pilot.
