A work in progress MFA Student Matt Truitt hangs his untitled photographic work in the Jacob Lawrence Gallery. The piece is part of Works in Progress: First Year MFAs, an exhibit that opened yesterday. The Exhibit by MFA students in ceramics, fibers, metals, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and visual communication design runs through Feb. 23 in the gallery, 132 Art.

Media relations workshop Stephen Dager, professor of psychiatry and radiology, was one of the speakers at a Jan. 31 workshop for health sciences faculty and staff who wanted to learn how to work effectively with the media. The free event was sponsored by Health Sciences/Medical Affairs News and Community Relations and included reporters from local media.
