Campus Master Plan

President's Address

Campus-wide budget talk rescheduled

A discussion on how best to absorb state funding cuts to the University has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 24 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in 210 Kane.

The UW was hit with a 7.2 percent, or $26 million, budget cut when the state’s final budget was signed into law recently. The all-campus meeting, hosted by President Richard L. McCormick and Provost Lee Huntsman is one of several public discussions to consider how the University should deal with the resulting internal budgeting problem.

Plans are in the works to include the Bothell and Tacoma campuses via videoconferencing.
