is the time of year that the University of Washington honors some
of its best and brightest. Awards are given to honor outstanding
teachers, staff, mentors and those engaged in public service and
efforts to increase diversity. There are also awards for alumni
and friends of the University who have distinguished themselves.
On June 13, all these special people will be honored at a reception
hosted by President Richard L. McCormick. Here, we introduce you
