Roxanne recently graduated from Yale University with a B.S. in Applied Mathematics. She then boarded a plane and hopped coasts to start her graduate studies in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Washington. She works with Andy Jessup in the Air-Sea Interactions and Remote Sensing (AIRS) department of the Applied Physics Lab (APL) where she utilizes infrared imagery to study a variety of characteristic of the near-shore coastal environment, such as wave breaking and long-shore currents. When she is not attending classes or conducting research, she enjoys playing soccer and running around Seattle.
